Rahul Gandhi said the decision to amend the labor laws was wrong

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has opposed the amendment in labor laws by some states amid the ongoing lockdown due to the corona virus epidemic. He said in a tweet that there can be no compromise on these fundamentals. Rahul wrote in his tweet – Labor laws are being amended by many states. We are fighting together against Corona, but this cannot be an excuse to trample human rights, allow unsafe workplaces, exploit workers and suppress their voice.

Significantly, due to the Corona epidemic, lockdown continues in most of the countries of the world at this time. The biggest impact of the lockdown has been on the economy. Industry has stalled due to the lockdown implemented in India for more than one and a half months. To overcome this and to bring the industry back on track, six states have made several major changes in their labor laws so far, these states include Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat etc. UP, Odisha and Maharashtra have also changed their labor laws. It is believed that soon some other states can also announce such changes.
