Mercury touches 50 degrees Celsius in Churu Rajasthan

New Delhi: North Jaipur’s city Churu sizzled at 50 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. This was the second highest temperature recorded in the month of May in last 10 years, according to IMD Jaipur. The city had recorded 50.2 degrees Celsius on May 19, 2016, the meteorological department added.

Apart from Churu, Bikaner, Ganganagar and Pilani were included in the list of hottest places from Rajasthan, India. Apart from this, two cities were from Uttar Pradesh and two from Maharashtra. Banda from Haryana and Hisar from Haryana were also very hot on Tuesday. Temperatures here were recorded at 48 degrees.

The list of hottest cities include New Delhi (46.7 degrees), Bikaner (47.4 degrees), Ganganagar (47 degrees), Jhansi (47 degrees), Pilani (46.9 degrees), Nagpur Sonegaon (46.8 degrees) and Akola (46.5 degrees). Huh.

Churu recorded the second highest temperature in the last 10 years in May. Earlier on May 19, 2016, Churu recorded a temperature of 50.2 degrees Celsius. Let us know that since May 22, heat outbreak is being seen in Churu. It was recorded at 46.6 degree Celsius on May 22. Since then it has continued to grow.

At the same time, after 18 years at Delhi’s Safdarjung Observatory, the highest temperature for the month of May was recorded at 46 degree Celsius on Tuesday (May 26). People in Delhi are experiencing scorching heat and heat stroke and maximum temperatures were recorded at six degrees above normal in most places of the national capital. In Palam area, the temperature reached 47.6 degree Celsius.
