Pratapgarh: Nine people died in a direct collision between a truck and a Scorpio on Friday in Wajidpur of Nawabganj police station area of Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. One person is injured, who has been sent to the hospital for treatment. Superintendent of Police Pratapgarh’s PO Triloki Pandey said that a truck and a Scorpio collided head-on in Wajidpur in Nawabganj police station area of Pratapgarh, in which nine people died.
A person accompanying them has been sent to the hospital for treatment in critical condition. They were all going from Rajasthan to Bihar riding in Scorpio. According to the police, these people are from Bhojpur district of Bihar. The bodies were cut out of the Scorpio. The police is investigating the incident.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has deeply mourned the death of people in a road accident in Pratapgarh. He has expressed his condolences to the bereaved family. The Chief Minister has given instructions to provide proper treatment to the injured people in this accident.
