Date:

New Delhi: To compensate for the loss of public property in the violent protests in Lucknow against the Citizenship Amendment Act, the Yogi government installed hoardings in the city along with the names, photographs and addresses of the accused. Now Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has attacked the Yogi government about this.

Priyanka Gandhi tweeted, “ The attitude of the BJP government of UP is such that the head of the government and the officials following his footsteps have started thinking themselves above the constitution made by Babasaheb Ambedkar. The High Court has told the government that you are not above the Constitution. Your accountability will be fixed.

Today, the Allahabad High Court will hear the matter at three in the afternoon. High Court Chief Justice Govind Mathur has taken suo motu cognizance of the case. He himself will hear it.
