Amritsar: Congress MLA and former minister Navjot Singh Sidhu announced to launch his YouTube channel. He named the channel “Jeetga Punjab” and invited “like-minded people” to discuss, interview and exchange ideas. A statement issued here by Sidhu’s office said, “Sidhu is bringing his own channel on YouTube today to share ideas with the people of Punjab in an easy / understandable way.”
“After contemplating for nine months and bringing in new energy to himself, the four-time Member of Parliament and MLA from Amritsar East will be vocal on the burning issues of Punjab and the resurgence of Punjab as a welfare state,” the statement said. We will keep trying to prepare a concrete framework for this.
It says that this channel is inspired by the path of global brotherhood, tolerance, love and peace shown by Baba Nanak. Sidhu was away from the news since he resigned from the state cabinet in July last year. He resigned after reports of tension with Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
