Patna: Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has joined the NDA before the Bihar elections. On Wednesday, Jeetan Ram Manjhi himself gave this information. Manjhi said that we have formed an alliance with Janata Dal (United) and have become a part of NDA. There is no discussion on seat sharing in the next Bihar assembly elections.
Hindustani Awam Morcha chief Jeetan Ram Manjhi said, keeping in mind the respect from where we have received the honor, we decided that if we have to go somewhere, we will stay with Nitish Kumar. They have decided to remain unconditionally with him as a separate partner by not merging the party.
Earlier, party spokesperson Danish Rizwan asserted that the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) would not merge with any party, but would be part of the NDA in the Bihar elections, scheduled to be held in October-November. Rizwan said that we (S) national president Jeetan Ram Manjhi will make a formal announcement on September 3 to become part of the NDA in Bihar.
