Women migrant workers worshipped in a Durga pandal

As the festival of Navaratri has begun, it is time to check out the various pandals of Goddess Durga all over the country.

India see the artistic side of sculptors who give their best shot to express their creative side through their works.

In 2020 as we are dealing with the global crisis of coronavirus pandemic, a pandal in Kolkata has come up with a unique idea.

Since migrant workers were one of the worst-affected due to the pandemic, the Kolkata pandal has placed the idols of migrant workers as a honour to their challenges in these times.

The pandal, organised by Barisha Club Durga Puja team in Behala, Kolkata, shows a migrant worker mother in place of the goddess Durga, as per a report.

Not only that the idol of Goddess Durga has been replaced but also other gods and goddess such as Saraswati, Laxmi and Ganesh and Kartik have been replaced with the idols of migrant workers.

Humanity is considered Supreme. Isn’t it mind-blowing? Thanks to the humanity that still exists even in these most-difficult times of our lives.
