Tips for travelling in local trains during coronavirus pandemic

We all are aware that those normal days back then before the pandemic started in India won’t be back anytime soon.

We need to accept the new normal of wearing masks, applying sanitizers or washing hands with soap water and keeping social distancing for more time till there is a vaccine in place.

If you are planning to start travelling by local trains to your workplace or to your college, here are some tips that will help you stay away from the risk of coronavirus infection.

Keep in your bag always – a 3-ply face mask, a hand sanitizer, and a few disinfectant wipes. You can also have some extra masks in another small bag inside your main bag in order to use when needed.

Wear gloves before you leave from home as you will be touching the train doors, seats and hence, it is better to use gloves till you reach your workplace or college.

Inside the train, make sure you keep minimum of 6 feet distance from other passengers and avoid trains that are crowded.

Avoid using public bathrooms but in case it is required, then wash your hands with soap and water after using the public toilets.

Avoid spitting at public places to save yourself and others from the pandemic.
