American Airlines Group Inc recently announced that it would provide details related to coronavirus testing and documents required for travelling to a particular destination in the form of a mobile app from 18 November 2020.
Called as VeriFLY, the app has been developed by a software company Daon. The app has the feature of real-time verification of coronavirus related information like diagnostic lab test results.
The company is working towards ensuring that the check-in and verification procedures at the airport in the current pandemic situation becomes easier and smoother.
The idea has come at a time when the people in the world are now willing to come out of their comfort zones and explore new places in international destinations.
The app will be introduced for flights from American’s hub in Miami to Jamaica.
