Kolkata: The opposition has ridiculed the last budget of the second Trinamool government as an ‘election manifesto’.
In her budget reply speech today at Assembly, the Chief Minister said, ‘What is wrong with it if this budget sounds like manifesto?’
Mamata did not stop targeting the Prime Minister in the last budget session of the assembly today.
Attacking Mr Modi, Mamata said, “Lies have become a habit for Prime Minister. We have verified 2 lakh 50 thousands applications of farmers. Now it is his turn to pay. What else can we do? Have never seen such a ruthless central government before. But I’ll not let Gujarat rule Bengal.”
At the end of today’s statutory last day last session photo, Mamata said confidently, ‘We will be back in 2021 for sure”.
