Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has played a big bet before the election dates are announced. Mamta government has talked about increasing wages of daily laborers. Daily wage laborers in the state will get more money than before.

Under this announcement to increase the wages for unskilled daily laborers from Rs 144 per day to Rs 202. Semi-skilled workers will now get Rs 303 instead of Rs 172, while it has been announced to give Rs 404 to skilled workers. This information has been shared on Mamta Banerjee’s official Twitter handle.

Mamta Banerjee tweeted that this announcement would benefit 56 thousand 500 workers in West Bengal. Among them, there are 40 thousand 500 unskilled workers, while 8000 semi-skilled workers. The number of skilled workers is 8000. Earlier in her speech, Mamta Banerjee had said that she is not afraid of anyone and she cannot be scared of jail or anything else.
