Bhopal: Councilor and Hindu Mahasabha leader Babulal Chaurasia from ward number 44 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, has joined the Congress, but the opposition of this has emerged in the party. Babulal is a councilor from the ward where Godse’s temple was built. He was welcomed into the party in the presence of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Regarding this, the BJP has not failed to surround the Congress.
Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh is asking who is Babulal, while former Union Minister Arun Yadav is asking if the MP of Bhopal, Pragya Thakur will enter the Congress in future, will the Congress accept it. Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh raised the question, “Who are Babulal Chaurasia, Killer ideology, who killed Mahatma Gandhi, he is still alive, we are ashamed of this.”
Former state Congress president Arun Yadav said that he did not find it appropriate to build Godse’s temple and then reconcile it to Gandhi’s ideology, so he has expressed his views in protest. While some Congress leaders are vocal on this issue, some are not able to understand what is the official stand of the party.
