The Change of Guard ceremony takes place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, at the forecourt of the presidential residence on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The ceremony is an excellent chance to witness the architecture of Rashtrapati Bhavan. The starting time is usually 8 AM on Saturday and 5:30 PM on Sunday, and entry is free. A valid photo-ID is mandatory to enter the premises.

One of the biggest jails in India, the Tihar Jail in Janakpuri, West Delhi, is reputed for providing livelihood and skill training to its inmates. Interestingly, it also runs a food court, staffed by jail prisoners, and shops that sell handmade products. 

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is not only a significant Sikh shrine in Delhi but is famous over India. Running a free community kitchen to feed the visitors, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is ideal for enjoying a homely meal.

Sunday afternoons in Old Delhi at Meena Bazaar, opposite the Red Fort, are set for free traditional Indian wrestling matches called kushti. It is a mix of ancient Indian mud-fight with Persian martial arts. The wrestling matches can be watched for free.
