You will be astonished to know that Germany, Greece, and five other nations of the European Union have launched a vaccination certificate system for its travelers. The move comes weeks before the July 1 introduction of the program all over the 27-nation bloc. It has been reported that the countries other than these EU nations that have already introduced such a system are Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Croatia, among others.
As everyone knows that Greece is heavily active in promoting tourism as its economy lies in the same and the country has been giving focus upon the use of a vaccination certificate that can be recognized commonly and uses a QR code with quite developed security features. Now reports also suggest that certificates are being given to fully vaccinated citizens and those people having developed antibodies due to contracting the infection before and those possessing a PCR test within the last 72 hours.
The documents will be provided to people in both digital and paper formats and they will be valid in all the bloc’s nations. Interestingly, people will be given the certificates at no cost and they will be printed in the national language, along with English. The EU Health Commission has understood that people are willing to travel again and hence, this initiative of EU vaccination certificate will help promote safer travel.

The move has been appreciated and said to provide hassle-free to travelers and also people involved in the tourism sector. The EU Commission is also thinking that fully vaccinated people need not go through a PCR test or undergo a quarantine period irrespective of the place they are traveling to and from. This is applicable if the second dose of the vaccinated people has been completed 14 days. However, this idea is yet to be widely accepted by the member nations yet.
