Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has been admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar on June 29 due to deteriorating health. The actor is suffering from pneumonia. Recently, a patch was found in his lungs, after which the decision was taken to admit Naseeruddin to the hospital.
His manager said that ‘he is in the hospital. Here he is in medical supervision. He was brought here on the complaint of pneumonia. At present, his health is stable and improving. After being admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, Naseeruddin’s health condition is fine now. The manager said that he would be discharged from the hospital in a day or two.
Naseeruddin Shah, 70, hospitalized, is accompanied by his wife Ratna Pathak and children. Naseeruddin has been a part of many great films. It includes many names including Masoom, Tridev, Sarfarosh, Maqbool, Iqbal, Banaras, Parzania, Ishqiya, The Dirty Picture, John Day, Begum Jaan. He was last seen in Zee5’s film Mee Raxum.
