Mumbai: Lockdown has been extended again due to the outbreak of Corono virus in Maharashtra. The state has now announced to extend the lockdown till 31 July. Earlier the lockdown was extended till 30 June. Please tell that Maharashtra has the highest number of cases of corona in the country.

The order to increase the lockdown was issued by Maharashtra Chief Secretary Ajoy Mehta. During this time only the shops of essential commodities (milk, vegetables and medicines) have been opened, similarly they will continue to be exempted. At the same time, other shops can also be opened on Odd-Even Day. With this, there will be a limited number of employees in offices. Under Mission Begin Again, all the departments of the state government have been instructed to strictly follow the guidelines issued earlier.

The order states that the District Collector concerned, the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation may impose necessary restrictions as per local circumstances.
