Ahead of ‘bhoomi pujan’, CM Yogi arrives in Ayodhya to review preparations

Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reached Ayodhya today (Saturday), 10 days before the Bhumi Pujan of the construction of Ram temple. After reaching Ayodhya, CM Yogi first went to Ramjanmabhoomi Complex and took review the preparations. The ceremony has been organized at this place on 5 August. PM Narendra Modi will participate in the Bhoomi Poojan program.

The Chief Minister offered prayers to Lord Ram at Ram Janmabhoomi site. According to reports, he will today place Laxman, Bharat and Shatrughan on new ‘asanas’ at the Ram Janambhoomi.

CM Yogi met held meeting with members of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and local administration. He also offered his prayers to Lord Hanuman in Hanuman Garhi.

The architect of the Ram temple told about its design that many changes have been made in the design of the temple built in 1988. The height of the temple will be 20 feet more than before. It will be 161 feet high. Its height in the old map was 141 feet. The temple will be three storeyed and two additional pavilions will be built in it. According to the information received, after the Bhoomi Pujan, the construction of the temple construction will take about three years to complete.
