New Delhi: For the auspicious and momentous occasion of Ram Mandir bhoomi pujan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Ayodhya wearing a golden kurta paired with cream coloured dhoti and his iconic gamcha which he uses these days to cover his face due to the coronavirus outbreak. This will be his second transnational travel after the coronavirus-induced lockdown. Prime Minister Modi will deliver an hour-long address after completing the Bhoomi Pujan. He will first reach Lucknow and from there travel to Ayodhya.
Ayodhya is fully prepared for the historic moment. In the morning today children and youngsters were seen making rangoli designs on streets of Ayodhya including the Naya Ghaat. A number of shops are also shut and will open only in the evening. Shopkeepers have lit earthen lamps outside their shops to celebrate the joyous celebration.
