Cashify has appointed Raj Kumar Rao, a National Award-winning Bollywood actor, as its first brand ambassador to promote its goods and services both offline and online. As the actor personifies the brand concept of reliability, responsiveness, approachability, and dynamic personality, the collaboration provides a powerful face to the brand’s philosophy.
The business has signed the actor to a multi-year deal. He will market the goods specifically for the smartphone buyback category across digital media channels through campaigns and promotional activities during this collaboration.
Cashify is a re-commerce marketplace founded by Mandeep Manocha, Nakul Kumar, and Amit Sethi that provides an online platform for selling old or used electronic gadgets—primarily cell phones, followed by laptops, tablets, desktops, and gaming consoles. In just seven years, the firm, which began in 2013, has grown to over 1,500 functional sites. Cashify has an official buyback partner for Xiaomi, OnePlus, HP, Samsung, Dell, Vivo, Oppo, and Apple in India, with over 2 million consumers.

The company’s partnership with the actor comes when it is expanding its operations from online to offline, having recently received $15 million from Olympus Capital and purchased UniShop to broaden its omni category offerings to consumers.
“It brings me tremendous joy to welcome Raj Kumar Rao to the Cashify family,” Mandeep Manocha, CEO and Co-Founder of Cashify said of the partnership with Raj Kumar Rao. All reconditioned gadgets are put through a series of tests before being delivered to the final customer, who also receives a 6-month guarantee. Much like the famed actor, we as a company are constantly pushing the limits to stay relevant and genuinely connect with our customers.”
“With the start of the COVID-19 epidemic, the notion of a dispersed workforce and distant learning became a reality,” Raj Kumar Rao remarked of the brand relationship. “I look for businesses that I can relate to and have an influence on, and this collaboration allows me to do just that.”
