New Delhi: Counting of votes continues in Bihar Legislative Assembly elections. Till 2 pm, only around 20 per cent of the votes have been counted, so the trends so far can also change. When the counting started in the morning, the grand alliance was moving ahead in the initial trends but the picture changed when the EVM votes were counted. However, the NDA still seems to get an absolute majority with 128 seats in the trends.
If we look at the data till 1.30 pm, there are 60 seats where the difference of votes between the candidates of both the coalitions is less than 1000. In seven seats, this difference is less than 100 votes. In this case, the bet can be reversed at any time. Around 1.30 pm, the LJP candidate in Kasba seat was ahead of the Congress candidate by five votes, while in Chhapra seat, the RJD candidate was ahead of the BJP candidate by 6 votes. Similarly, 10 votes ahead of JDU candidate over RJD in Madhaura, 22 votes ahead of JDU candidate RJD in Sarairanjan.
