New Delhi: India junked claims of a Chinese professor who said China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) used microwave weapons to gain upperhand over Indian army in the alleged clashes in Ladakh region on August 29.
India sharply rejected the professor’s claims and called it a ‘pure and poor pysops’ by China.
An American news outlet stated the professor’s claims that Chinese army honouring the Indo-China agreement not to use firearms and used the microwave weapons to defeat India.
“In 15 minutes, those occupying the hilltops all began to vomit…. They couldn’t stand up, so they fled. This was how we retook the ground,” said the professor of International relations Jin Canrong , as per a UK newspaper. He is with the Renmin University
Indian army categorically rubbished this claim saying nothing of that sort happened. Asserting its viewpoint, Indian army asked why is China asking to India withdraw from the hilltops when they’ve ‘reclaimed’ it?
India sounds surefooted in its statement saying Indian army tanks and other equipments are still stationed in those heights.
