New Delhi: Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, convicted of Mumbai attacks, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his involvement in terrorist activities. India has reacted to the punishment given to Lakhvi by describing it as mere pretense. On Friday, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said in a press conference, “The intention of such actions is clear before the meeting of APJG (Asia Pacific Joint Group) and FATF (Financial Action Task Force) in February. It has become a habit for Pakistan to take provocative action before important meetings. ”
He said, “Prosecuted organizations and designated terrorists banned by the United Nations work to fulfill the anti-India agenda for the Pakistani establishment. It is for the international community to seize Pakistan and ensure that it takes credible action against terrorist groups, terrorist infrastructure and terrorists. “
