New Delhi: In protest against the three new agricultural laws, farmers have been sitting at different borders in Delhi for more than two months with their demands. Since the Red Fort incident on January 26, police arrangements have been extended on every border. Farmers from other parts of the country are reaching all three major protest sites. Tight security arrangements have been made to prevent farmers from entering Delhi with tractors or other vehicles. The number of barricades was increased with the deployment of soldiers, the road has been blocked by buses to block the way. Barbed wire has been laid to prevent farmers from walking. First the way of siege was done with cement, then on the roads have been put up to the spiked nails so that tractors do not enter Delhi.

There are more farmers from Haryana and Punjab on the Tikri border. Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Force personnel have been deployed on the Tikri border.

Various political parties have supported the peasant movement. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut will go to Ghazipur border at 1 pm on Tuesday. He will meet the demonstrating farmers. Raut gave this information by tweeting on Tuesday morning. Ghazipur border is becoming the new center of the farmers movement.

Farmers’ organizations have started trying to intensify the movement. The Kisan Morcha announced to Chakka jam all over the country from 12 noon to 3 pm on February 6.

According to Delhi Police sources, the police have prepared steel sticks to face the miscreants. However, Delhi Police said on Tuesday that the picture of the steel lathi that came out is from Shahdara district. Those local officers had called these sticks at their level. No approval was taken from senior officers for this. The lathis were sent back as soon as the senior officers came to know. The Delhi Police has no plans to use steel sticks.
