Swamy says, Petrol ₹ 93 in Ram’s India, ₹ 51 in Ravan’s Lanka

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has today attacked of his own party government . Subramanian Swamy has expressed his displeasure at the unique estimate on the rising prices of petrol and diesel in the country.

Swami wrote in his tweet that petrol is being sold in Ram’s India at Rs 93, Sita’s Nepal for Rs 53 and Ravana’s Lanka for Rs 51. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaram announced a new Cess Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess. It was charged at Rs 2.5 per liter on petrol, while Rs 4 per liter on diesel. Petrol price in Delhi crossed Rs 86 per liter, while diesel cost Rs 76.

According to the price notification of oil marketing companies, the prices of petrol and diesel had increased by 35 paise per liter. Presently the price of petrol has been increased to Rs 86.05 per liter in Delhi and Rs 92.62 per liter in Mumbai. In the national capital, the price of diesel reached Rs 76.23 per liter and in Mumbai Rs 83.03 per liter. Last week, the price of petrol and diesel was increased by Re 1 per liter.
