Chennai: The number of people killed in an explosion in a private firecracker factory on Friday in Sattur in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu has now risen to 19. According to the news, more than 36 people have been injured.
On the other hand, compensation has been announced for those killed in the explosion in the fireworks factory in Tamil Nadu. While giving the information, the Prime Minister’s Office said that, two lakh rupees will be given from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to those who died in this blast, while it has been announced to give 50 thousand rupees to the injured. Along with this, an announcement has been made to give Rs 3 lakh to the kin of the deceased and Rs 1 lakh for the seriously injured from the Chief Minister’s Fund of the state.
