New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Tamil Nadu and Kerala today. Where PM Modi has handed over the Arjun Tank to the Army in Chennai today. On the other hand, in Kerala, CPI (M) and LDF are also going to start their election campaign today. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will launch his party’s election campaign in Assam. In this sequence, Narendra Modi has reached Chennai today.
At a function, he also accepted a salute by the state-of-the-art tank, indigenously designed, developed, and manufactured by DRDO’s Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment here.
Mr Modi launched the projects through video-conferencing at a official event organised by Tamil Nadu government at the
Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor stadium. ‘Numerous development works would launched that would add speed to fulfilling the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The projects will boost ‘Ease of Living’ for our citizens,” Mr Modi tweeted in English, Malayalam and Tamil, before leaving for Chennai and Kochi.
Fifteen academic institutions, eight labs and several MSMEs were also involved in the project.
