Naypyidaw: The military has blocked access to Wikipedia in all languages ​​in the country amid growing protests following the military coup in Myanmar. This information was given by Netblock Monitoring Service.

NetBlox tweeted on Friday, “The Myanmar military has blocked Wikipedia’s access to the Internet in all languages. The ban is part of a ban imposed by the Myanmar military on the Internet.”

Netblocks have said that the army has banned internet services in the country for the last six days. Significantly, on February 1, the Myanmar army overthrew and arrested elected members of parliament.

The army imposed emergency for a year and promised to hold elections thereafter. The army then declared a state of emergency for a year in Myanmar and promised to hold elections at the end of this period.
