Hathras: A surprising incident has come to light in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. The accused, who was jailed for sexual exploitation here in the year 2018, allegedly shot and killed the victim’s father on Monday.
Hathras police said that accused Gaurav Sharma was sentenced to one month in jail in a sexual abuse case in 2018. The victim’s father had filed a case against him in the police. On Monday, around 4:30 pm outside a temple in the village, there was a clash between the accused and the victim’s family over something, after which the firing was fired. The victim’s father died on the way to the hospital.
Gaurav Sharma was granted bail by a local court after being in jail for a month, after which he was out since then.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ruchi Gupta has told that at around 3:30 pm on Monday evening, 50-year-old Amrish was digging potatoes in his field in Naujarpur village of Sasni area. At the same time, four attackers fired upon them. On his way to the hospital in critical condition, Amrish died on the way.
She said that in this connection, the police have registered a case against six accused, including four named. The police is vigorously searching for the accused.
