New Delhi: Rakesh Tikait, who arrived in Prayagraj from West Bengal, told reporters today that the government is keen on selling everything to industrialists. He said that he has embarked on a journey to create awareness among farmers and to support every section. Their program is going on continuously. They will go all over the country and highlight the deceit the Central Government has made with the farmers, businessmen and employed people.
The farmer leader said that by implementing the MSP, the rice of the farmer will be sold for Rs 1850, but the government wants to get this rice for Rs 900 only. Now the farmer will not give his rice to the government. He said that the government is neither ready to listen nor to talk. In such a situation, Delhi is still surrounded by all four sides. He said that the movement will continue till the law on MSP is enacted and three agricultural laws are not repealed.
Rakesh Tikait said that the farmers will be destroyed due to the coercion of the government. Small traders will end. Weekly markets will not be identified, while this business has more than four and a half million people from all over the country. Talking about the elections in Bengal, he said that it does not make any sense to him, but he has come to make the farmers aware.
