Governor of Meghalaya ready to resign on the issue of farmers

New Delhi: Meghalaya Governor Satyapal Malik is ready to give up his post regarding the farmers’ agitation, he said in an interview that he is distressed by the deaths of farmers and if the government feels that I am saying something wrong, then I am ready to leave the post.

He surrounded the government and said that condolences are expressed even when the bitch dies, here 250 farmers have died, no one has expressed any condolences. If the government feels that I am doing them harm, then I will go away.

Satyapal Malik said, the reality is, those who want the loss of the government do not want the problem to be solved. If this movement continues like this, then in the long run, the BJP will suffer a huge loss in western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana. I do not see this condition of farmers. The situation is that BJP leaders are unable to go out of their village. People are beating BJP MLAs.

He said that I have no problem in leaving the post of governor, I will leave the post of governor and will speak again. My statement is not a loss to the party, actually benefitted . Farmers will feel that someone is talking to them. Farmers should not be sent empty handed. I have spoken to both the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. The government should start negotiating with the farmers soon.
