Jagdalpur: Home Minister Amit Shah reiterated his resolve to intensify the campaign against Naxalites today and said that our victory in this battle is certain.
After a long two-hour high-level meeting here on the situation of Left Wing Extremism affected area, Mr. Shah told reporters that the fight against Naxalites will be intensified. He said that the martyrdom of the soldiers will not go in vain, and this fight will be taken to a decisive turn. Shri Shah said that a cowardly event like Bijapur will not stop the fight but will move forward more strongly.
He said that the central and state security forces have launched a vigorous campaign against the Naxalites in this area, and the central and state government has done all the development work in this area, so that the Naxalites have taken such cowardly action in fury. That this fight will be carried to the end and our victory in this battle is certain.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on the occasion that the operations of the security forces against the Naxalites will continue and will carry out this operation. The work of setting up camps in the area of Naxalites will be done rapidly. Development works will also be expedited in the area. He said that our soldiers have faced the Naxalites with great courage, which has caused heavy damage to the Naxalites. He said that new camps are being set up in this area, due to which the Naxalites are feeling angry. Naxalites have been confined within a limited range.
