Lucknow: After the increase in corona cases in Uttar Pradesh, the corona curfew will now be applicable from 8 pm to 7 am in the districts of UP. Under the decision, curfew will be imposed from 8 pm to 7 am in ten districts of UP where there are more than 2000 active cases. These districts include Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut.

At the same time, DM was authorized that where there are more than 500 cases, he can impose curfew in his district from 9 pm to 6 am.

Apart from this, classes from 1 to 12th will be suspended in the state till May 15. The UP board examinations have been pushed forward and will now be held after May 20. There will be online classes in the university and degree colleges till May 15. There will be no offline examinations till May 15.

It is worth noting that at present, the number of active cases of Corona is more than one lakh 11 thousand. So far 9376 people have lost their lives in UP due to Corona. So far, 7,44,021 cases of corona have been reported in the state out of which six lakh 22 thousand 810 patients have been recovered.
