Reducing vaccination age limit, Sonia suggest Centre

New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has demanded the Central Government to reduce the vaccination age to 25 years. Addressing the meeting of the party’s highest policy making body Congress Working Committee here on Saturday, Sonia Gandhi said that the government should revisit the age of vaccination in view of the spread of corona and fatal diseases like respiratory disease, diabetes and kidney disease This vaccine should also be given to young people above 25 years of age who are suffering from diseases.

The Congress President said that there are reports of vaccine deficiency from many places in the country but the government has exported more than six and a half million vaccines. She said that Corona has the highest number of patients in India, and given their number, the government should first use it to give protection to its people.

She said that she had spoken to the Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states on the condition of Corona in the past and raised the problem there before the Prime Minister, but the government did not respond to it.
