New Delhi: The central government has announced several welfare schemes for children affected by the corona virus from PM Cares. This announcement has been made on the eve of the completion of 7 years of the Modi government. Children who lose their parents in the Corona epidemic will be given a monthly allowance on turning 18.
Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired an important meeting to help the children who lost their parents due to covid-19. Those steps were discussed in the meeting which would help in supporting the covid affected children. In the meeting, PM Modi announced many benefits to the children affected by the current Corona epidemic. Announcing these measures, the Prime Minister emphasized that children represent the future of the country and that the country will do everything possible to support and protect children, so that they develop as strong citizens and their future is bright. .
The PM said that in such a difficult time it is our duty as a society to take care of our children and awaken the hope of a bright future. All children who have lost both parents or surviving parents or legal guardian/adoptive parents due to covid-19 will be given assistance under the ‘PM-Cares for Children’ scheme.
The press note issued by the PMO stated that steps have been taken to support and empower the covid affected children, courtesy of PM Cares for Children. The government stands with the children who lost their parents due to covid. Such children will get a monthly stipend at the age of 18 and a fund of 10 lakh rupees from PM Cares at the age of 23 years.
