New Delhi: The number of people suffering from corona virus in India is increasing continuously. Now in Kerala, corona virus report of 5 people has come positive with total number of patients in India has reached 39. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday reviewed the situation arising out of the corona virus and asked officials to identify the appropriate place to keep suspects separate and to provide better treatment.
Kerala Health Minister KK Selja said, 5 new positive cases of corona virus have been found in Pathanamthitta district. 3 out of 5 people had recently returned from Italy, on contact with which two more people got the virus infection. The infected people have been admitted to the isolation ward.
The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of all departments so far to prevent the infection of Corona virus, and stressed the need for India to formulate a concrete action plan to deal with the corona virus crisis.
At the same time, the number of people infected with the corona virus worldwide reached 1,01,988 on Saturday. So far 94 countries have been hit by it and 3,491 people have lost their lives.
