Lucknow: Shri Ram Mandir Janmabhoomi Trust in Ayodhya is getting embroiled in land purchase disputes one after the other. In two new revelations that have come to the fore, buying land in lakhs and selling it in crores has come to the fore and in these deals, Deep Narayan Upadhyay, nephew of Ayodhya Mayor Hrishikesh Upadhyay, is being told an important role. It is worth noting that the dispute of buying 2 crore land in Ayodhya by the trust for 26 and a half crores has not been settled yet.

According to the news of the news channel Aaj Tak, a land which Deep Narayan bought for 20 lakh rupees was sold to Ram Janmabhoomi for 2.5 crores. At the same time, the second land which was worth Rs 27 lakhs has also been sold by the nephew of the Mayor to the Ram Mandir Trust for one crore. On 20 February 2021, Deep Narayan Upadhyay, nephew of Ayodhya Mayor Hrishikesh Upadhyay, bought land from Gata number 135 to 890 square meters from Mahant Devendra Prasad Acharya of Ayodhya for Rs 20 lakh. The value of this land purchased was estimated at 35.6 lakhs according to the circle rate.

Three months later, on May 11, 2021, Deep Narayan sold the same land of Kot Ramchandra Haveli to Ram Mandir Trust for Rs 2.5 crore. The land which was bought for 20 lakhs was sold after 3 months by the nephew of the Mayor to the Ram Mandir Trust for 2.5 crores. The biggest thing was that Anil Mishra was also present on behalf of the witness trust in this deal and this 2.5 crore rupees were RTGS in the account of Deep Narayan Upadhyay on the same day.

It is worth noting that the circle rate of this area is Rs 4,000 per square meter, but this land was sold to the temple at the rate of Rs 28,090 per square meter.

Not only this, Deep Narayan Upadhyay also sold another land to the Ram Mandir Trust on the same day on February 20. Deep Narayan Upadhyay also sold a piece of 676.86 square meters of land out of Gata No. 36-M to the Ram Mandir Trust for one crore. Whereas according to the circle rate, the cost of this land comes out to be 27.08 lakhs. The land, which cost Rs 4,000 per square metre, was sold to the trust for Rs 14,774 per square metre. Trust member Anil Mishra is also a witness in this land deal.
