‘Saare Modi Chor’ remark was not against any society: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi appeared in Surat court today in defamation case against a statement made by Rahul during Lok Sabha elections 2019. Rahul had said in one of his addresses that ‘Sare Modi Chor Hain’.

The statement has been recorded in the court on behalf of Rahul Gandhi. According to the information, Rahul Gandhi has said in the court that he did not say this for any society, but had made a political sarcasm during the election. He doesn’t remember much in this case.

The petitioner’s demand has been turned down by the court, in which it was said to record the statement of the cameraman. Now the next hearing in this case will be on July 12.

Before his appearance in Surat court, Rahul Gandhi also made a tweet. Rahul wrote in his tweet that the whole secret of existence is that there should be no fear.
