New Delhi: Dr NK Arora, chairman of the Covid Working Group, has said that the trial of the indigenous vaccine company Zydus Cadila’s vaccine is almost complete and it can be started in the next few months.
NK Arora said that the trial of Zydus Cadila’s corona vaccine is almost complete. Now in the end of July or in August, it may be started to be applied to the children of 12 to 18 years. At present, corona vaccine is being administered to people above 18 years of age in the country.
Let us tell you that before the third wave, the central government wants to vaccinate more and more people with corona. But vaccination can accelerate only when the country has a large number of corona vaccines. If Zydus Cadila gets approval soon after the trial results are good, it will provide some relief.
NK Arora, chairman of the Covid Working Group, further talked about the third wave. He said, ‘ICMR has done a study, in which it has been claimed that the third wave will come a little late. Meanwhile, we have 6-8 months to vaccinate people. In the coming days, our target will be to administer one crore corona vaccines daily.
