Modi holds high level meeting on Jammu drone attack

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high level meeting here today to discuss measures to deal with the threat and challenge posed by the drone strike at Jammu Air Force Station.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and several other senior officials attended the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence two days after the drone attack on Jammu Air Force Station last Sunday night.

According to sources, the Defense Minister, who returned today from a three-day tour of Leh and Ladakh, gave detailed information about the drone strike in Jammu in the meeting. In the meeting, there was an in-depth discussion about the formulation of a comprehensive policy to deal with drone attacks and equipping the armed forces with anti-drone equipment. Along with this, the security situation in the country was also comprehensively reviewed.

It is noteworthy that a drone attack was carried out on the Jammu Air Force Station on Sunday night in which two Air Force personnel were injured.
