Marvel Studios has signed Canadian actress Tatiana Maslany as the lead actress for their new series based on She-Hulk.
For the unaware, She-Hulk is a fictional superhero character featured in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
Mark Ruffalo, who performs the role of Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe shared the news on his Twitter handle. He wrote, “Welcome to the family, cuz! @tatianamaslany #SheHulk.”
The studio has finalized Kat Coiro as the director of the initial and many other episodes.
The series will be streaming on Disney+ as per reports. However, the official dates are not yet out.
Apart from Orphan Black, Tatiana is also recognized for her latest release, HBO’s Perry Mason.
Tatiana had won the Emmy for best actress in a drama series in 2016. She was also nominated for three Emmys and a Golden Globe for Orphan Black.
