Meerut: Recently, the government has been celebrating with full enthusiasm the number of vaccines being put in place to prevent coronavirus infection has crossed 100 crores. But, on the other hand, a shocking case has come to light revealing this figure.

The second dose of the coronavirus vaccine was given six months after the death of a local councillor. Not only this but the certificate of vaccination was also issued. When the deceased’s family came to know about this and informed the officials about this, there was a stir in the health department. Unfortunately, the officers did not appear to be in a position to respond.

This matter has come to the fore in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, revealing 100 crore vaccinations, under which Cantt Board councillor Manju Goyal died on 25 April due to corona. On Friday, six months after his death, suddenly, a message came on his mobile about the second dose of the Covid vaccine.

Seeing this message, there was panic in his family. Relatives told that on 20 March 2021, the first dose of Covishield was given to the late councillor. Unfortunately, he died before the time for the second dose arrived. Not only this but its certificate was also issued on the portal.

After the death of the late councillor, the matter of vaccination spread rapidly. When the health department officials were asked about this, they expressed ignorance about it. CMO Dr Akhilesh Mohan said that such a case is very regrettable. It is being investigated. He said that no person could be given another vaccine after death.

Anything can only be said after investigation. At the same time, the family members of the deceased councillor say that this is a conspiracy to defame the government. The government is doing a very good job.
