Reliance Jio gets seventh investor as Abu Dhabi company

New Delhi: Mukesh Ambani gets the seventh investor in Reliance Jio Abu Dhabi’s company. The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) will invest Rs 5683 crore in Jio Platforms. So far, a total of Rs 97,885 crore has been invested in Jio in the last seven weeks.

ADIA valued the equity of Jio at 4.91 lakh crore and the enterprise value at 5.16 lakh crore. With this investment, ADIA will hold 1.16 per cent stake in Jio.

Facebook started investing in Jio. It had invested around Rs 44,000 crore and bought 9.99 per cent stake. After that Silver Lake, Vista Equity Partners, General Atlantic, KKR, Mubadla and now ADIA have invested as the seventh investor.
