New Delhi: Keeping in mind the cases of covid 19, India will not start international flights at present. The suspension on scheduled commercial flights from India to other countries and coming to India from other countries has been extended till 28 February. This restriction will not apply to international cargo flights and international flights specifically permitted by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The circular issued by DGCA states that although international scheduled flights can be approved on select routes in a specific case.
Earlier, the period of suspension on international flights was extended to 31 January 2021. Explain that commercial international flights have been suspended in the country since 23 March due to Corona epidemic this year. However, domestic flights were also suspend at that time.
