Kolkata: West Bengal government has cut prices of petrol and diesel. People in the state will get 1 rupee cheaper from petrol and diesel tonight. Finance Minister Amit Mitra announced the price reduction.

Announcing the reduction of tax by Rs 1, the Finance Minister said, “The Center is earning Rs 32.90 on a liter of petrol through tax while the state is getting only Rs 18.46. The central government is earning Rs 31.80 in a liter on diesel. , While the state Rs 12.77. “

In Kolkata today, customers are paying Rs 91.78 for a liter of petrol, while Rs 84.56 for a liter of diesel. Now after the decision of the government, this price will be reduced by one rupee.
