Innovative ideas to transform education system

47 teachers who have won the National Teachers Award this year have shared some interesting and innovative ideas to transform the current education system.

Some of the ideas include launching ‘bell-free school’, ‘child parliament’, gender sensitisation exercises and ‘global citizenship curriculum’.

Mahipalsinh Sajjansinh Jetavat, a teacher at Shree Tidana Primary School in Gujarat, launched the idea of a “bell-free school”.

The initiative was to motivate students to attend classes on a regular basis.

Jyoti Arora, the principal of Mount Abu Public School in Delhi, has started “global citizenship curriculum” in schools

The move is to create awareness among the children about the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Prakashchandra Narbheram Suthar, the principal of Kanjeli Primary School, used his carpentry skills to produce interesting kits, models and experiments at a budget-friendly cost for learning scientific models.

No wonder why India is progressing in the best way possible, thanks to such teachers with creative minds.
