UPPCS results declared, Anuj Nehra became the topper, women bagging top three ranks

New Delhi: The UPPSC PCS 2018 result has been declared and a total of 976 candidates have been able to clear the exam for 988 posts, with women bagging the top three ranks.

Interested candidates can check the result announced by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) on Friday for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (General/Special Recruitment) Exam-2018 by going on the official website at uppsc.up.nic.in.

As per reports, UPPSC controller of Exams Arvind Kumar Mishra informed that 12 posts of Information Officer and District Information Officer have been left vacant because no suitable candidate was found.

No interview was conducted for four posts one of Executive officer Class-1/Assistant City Commissioner and three posts of Accountant Urban Development. But their results have been declared today along with that of the others.

Anuj Nehra of Panipat, Haryana got the first rank, Sangeeta Raghav of Gurgaon, Haryana got the second rank, and Jyoti Sharma of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh got the third rank in the UPPSC PCS 2018 exam result.

The fourth and fifth places were bagged by Vipin Kumar Shivhare of Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh and Karamveer Keshav of Patna, Bihar.

With a total of 988 posts of 40 different varieties, the UPPSC PCS 2018 was the biggest recruitment of its kind held by the commission to date.

The number of vacancies on offer was far less in the last 10 UPPSC PCS recruitment exams, noted officials.
