Higher education institutes to reopen in Punjab

The government of Punjab has ordered that the education authorities to reopen higher education institutions from September 21 for Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students of technical and professional programmes that need laboratories and experimental works.

However, the state government has not yet given a nod to reopen schools, colleges and coaching classes. It will remain closed till further notice.

Open-air theatres will be reopening but with strict precautionary measures and social distancing rules.

Cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres and similar places are not going to open anytime soon in the state.

Online distance learning is the key for kids to continue their education in the scenario wherein schools, colleges and coaching centres are to be shut.

It seems coronavirus pandemic has disturbed the overall systems all over the world in every sector.
