The education department of Maharashtra has come up with a unique way to celebrate Children’s Day this year.

Maharashtra state education department has encouraged schools in the state to observe Children’s week between November 8 and 14.

Isn’t it exciting? Children who are the future of our society would be really happy to get this opportunity of being recognized and appreciated for their presence in our lives.

It is believed that children are the stepping stones of progress. The more the well-groomed and educated the children in a country, the more the country is going to climb more successes in the long run.

Thus, the initiative will introduce interesting activities by encouraging children to upload photographs online.

Many contests are being planned by the school officials to organize during the Children’s Week such as essay writing, elocution and video making.

Also, there will be prizes in each category for children between classes 1 and 12.
