Concept of the day: Creative Writing

Whenever someone says that he lacks creativity and doesn’t know to write well, be it any language, here is the actual meaning of Creative Writing for them.

Creative Writing comprises two words: Creativity and Writing. Creativity is a skill (inborn or learned) to come up with new ideas using our imagination or knowledge. Writing is a skill to express in words.

So, creative writing is all about writing our own imagination or what we want to express in such a way that it seems unique or different from others.

Creative writing can be learned or even taken inspiration from reading works of famous poets, novelists, writers and authors.

Whatever one writes adding his or her own unique touch is creative work and there are no rules in creative writing because expressing one’s feelings, emotions, knowledge differs from person to person.

Thus, if you are holding yourself thinking that you cannot write or you don’t have that level of creativity to express yourself, please take a pen and paper / open a word document in your laptop and start expressing yourself in the form of writing.
All the best for your new venture.
