Amity organized webinar on “WORK PLACE MENTAL HEALTH OF MARRIED WORKING WOMEN AND CYBER STALKING IN INDIA”

Lucknow: Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus organized a online national webinar on “WORKPLACE MENTAL HEALTH OF MARRIED WORKING WOMEN AND CYBER STALKING IN INDIA” Today.

Webinar was organized in collaboration of Government of India, National Commission for Women, New Delhi and attended by more than 600 participants pan India.

Mayor Lucknow Sanyukta Bhatia virtually graced the inaugural function as chief guest while Vice Chancellor Amity University Uttar Pradesh Prof. Dr Balvinder Shukla presided over the function. Member U.P State Commission for women, Lucknow, Smt. Anju Prajapati, Pro Vice Chancellor Amity University Lucknow, Dr.Sunil Dhaneshwar, Director, Amity Institute of Pharmacy and Deputy Dean Research Prof. Dr. Suneela Dhaneshwar were also present for the same.

Addressing the webinar, Sanyukta Bhatiya emphasized on the issues of working women, multiple responsibilities on work and home front and said that in today’s time in order to be empowered every woman should be independent and self-reliant. In her struggle to strike a work-life balance the support of family plays a major role. The women should not neglect their physical and mental wellbeing while doing multitasking. She also elaborated upon the burning issue of cyberstalking and what measure is to be taken for cyber security. She also informed about the Government of India’s strict directives to social media platforms about not misusing the data and information shared by public on this platform.

Smt. Anju Prajapati presented an overview on the measures taken by UP State Commission for Women, Lucknow for solving the various issues of women including cyberstalking. Prof Dr Balivinder Shukla advised working women about self-care and me first to avoid the mental stress. Prof. Dr Sunil Dhaneshwar appreciated how women are on the forefront in every chosen profession, securing higher positions.

Prof Dr Suneela Dhaneshwar briefed on the measures that could be taken to avoid mental stress and achieve cybersecurity. Dr. Nupur Kohli Medical Doctor, Advisor Health Care, Renowned Speaker, Researcher, joined from the Netherlands and spoke on the mental wellbeing of working women, causes and strategies to overcome them. Ms Nirali Bhatia a Cyber Psychologist touched upon psychological implications of social media and cyber-crimes.

Clinical Psychologist, Director, Amity Institute of Behavioral &Applied Sciences, Head Clinical Psychology Dr S. Z H. Zaidi, Dean Student Welfare & Chief Proctor, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University, Delhi Dr. Ela Kumar, Youth Mentor, Meditation Coach, Rashmin Pulekar, Dy Director PR & Communication, Amity University Lucknow, renowned writer, motivational speaker & behavioural scientist Dr. Chandrashekhar Verma, were also participated in a very meaningful panel discussion on the theme.

Students of the institute enthusiastically participated on a poster display competition expressing their understanding and thoughts on the theme very creatively and beautifully. Vote of thanks were proposed by the organizing secretaries; Dr Neha Mathur and Dr Zeeshan Fatima. The program was aptly moderated by Ms Pranati Srivastava and Ms Snigdha Singh.
